Using the ragdoll script with reactor inside 3Ds MAX

Hello and welcome to another 3Ds MAX tutorial. In this video tutorial you will learn how to fake a biped that's getting shot with reactor and the ragdoll script. The ragdoll fakes the motion of the human body and it is very useful when you want to create something that interacts with the environment in a realistic and physically correct way. Inside 3Ds MAX there is a script called ragdoll that does this and wtih the help of reactor we can achieve great results. Even if the technique is a bit old I find it fun and I just noticed that reactor got removed in the latest versions of 3Ds MAX so if you don't have reactor inside your 3Ds MAX 2011 or 2012 then you need to use an earlier version of it.

Here are some results that I created using the same techniques that you can find in this tutorial:

I'm sorry if I went too fast, but I wanted to stay under 10 minutes. Try to pause the video while you're following the tutorial. If you have any questions please post them in the comment section.

Thanks for watching! See you next time with another tutorial.
